CHRISTMAS AND MESSIAH’S BIRTH
We know the date that Yeshua’s birth is celebrated
The church in Rome decided on this particular day
It had nothing to do with the Messiah’s actual birth
It was instituted by them to make paganism go away
Not one person knew the exact date of Yeshua’s birth
So I guess this day to celebrate was as good as any
What’s important here is the fact that He was born
To be loved, revered and Deified by so very many
And as the very famous saying goes
Yeshua is the reason for the season
Those who deny Him will be condemned
To the dark pit of hell for eternal treason
But if you love and revere Him as Lord
He will surely return that love to you
Make Yeshua an integrated part of your life and
He’ll influence everything that you think say and do
Yeshua is an integral part of God’s eternal plan
In the Tri-Unity of the Holy Spirit Father and Son
So we accept this day even though it was chosen by man
To celebrate Messiah’s birth and the victory that He won
Merry Christmas and Blessings in Yeshua to all.

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE
CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE
Once upon a time there were two brothers
Each one believed that their cause was true
One would don a uniform of Confederate gray
The other would choose to wear Union blue
They both had fought many battles
Each trying to keep their cause alive
But regardless of which side won the war
They prayed that the other one would survive
Then one day a very crucial battle would occur
And each of the Generals needed to use their ace
In the heat of this bloody skirmish
The two brothers came face to face
The next thing that was supposed to happen
Was for each of them to pull their trigger
But their brotherly love was far too strong
It’s the one thing that the Generals didn’t figure
When the war ended they both survived
So it didn’t matter who had won or lost
Because if only one brother had survived
It would have been too high a cost
The lesson to be learned from this poetic story is
That no matter what the cost or for what good
One reason why the Son of God gave up His life
Was for mankind to seek peace and brotherhood

A MESSIANIC CHANUKAH CELEBRATION
On the first night of Chanukah
My true love gave to me
A menorah to celebrate
And to tell why we are free
On the second night of Chanukah
I lit the Shamash and candles one and two
It reminded me of the daily miracles
That God grants me and you
On the third night of Chanukah
I thank the Lord for all He does
A God filled with Grace and Mercy
Who Will Be Is and Was
On the fourth night of Chanukah
When the holiday is half way through
I think about Messiah Yeshua who died
To absolve the sins of me and you
On the fifth night of Chanukah
I go out and spread God’s Word
That Yeshua is the true Messiah and
Disclaim the untruth that you’ve heard
On the sixth night of Chanukah I Remember
How our Savior died and rose again
He made it clear through His disciples
That we are all to be fishers of men
On the seventh night of Chanukah
As the holiday nears the end
I’m reminded that one day
Yeshua will return to us again
On the last night of Chanukah
With the candles all aglow
I look toward the Eastern sky

Over many past centuries the rabbis have spread a
False doctrine about Yeshua and many other things
Admitting that He was a teacher rabbi and maybe
a prophet but not the Messiah the King of Kings
Do you accept the rabbi’s word as law
Or do you have a mind of your own
If you read the Old Testament prophesies
You don’t know it but a seed is being sewn
Several Jews have laid claim to these prophesies
But it is Yeshua who will fill every last one
Yet only in God’s time will the truth be revealed
That He and He alone is God’s Promised True Son
He came for the Jew first but was rejected by many
And later His apostles went to the Gentiles too
They accepted Him with open arms
As did the Messianic Believing Jew
God knows when you’re ready to accept Yeshua
Then you’ll be blessed in so many different ways
One of which is that you now have eternal life
When you pass into heaven for the rest of your days
There is only one way to be with God our Father
Through Yeshua whose blood cleanses all sins
By professing Him you are reborn or completed
It’s the glorious day that your Spiritual life begins
Now it will be your turn to plant the seed
My prayer is that you will be up to the tasks
Consider the sacrifice Yeshua made for you
The least you can do is whatever God asks

A NOTE FROM THE POET-IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!
As you may have read in my last posting as well as others in the past, God has given me a ministry through the written verse to reveal the Light of the World, first to the unsaved Jew and then to the unsaved Gentile who doesn’t have a personal relationship with Yeshua (Jesus). In nine more days I will celebrate the second anniversary of my blog. If you are enjoying the words that God gives me, I could use your help as well. Right now, I have viewers in 19 countries besides the U. S. Tell others in your country as well as other countries about the blog. (Especially if they enjoy poetry) Also I would enjoy conversations on my blog (Using the comments section after each posting.) (It does not cost to join the Blog) with both those who know the Lord And the lost souls who need to know Him before it is too late. If my ministry helps to lead at least 1 person to Salvation in the Lord, I will have accomplished the mission that God has given me, although I will strive to show the way to as many as are led here. DO YOU THINK YOU’RE READY
Yeshua said to come to Him
And He will give you rest
He said this to give you a free will choice
The words that He spoke were not a test
Will you continue on the path you’re on
One that can only lead to destruction
Profess Him as Lord and repent of your sins
You’ll be a new creation under construction
You may even think you’re ready but
When it happens it’s on God’s timetable
For you have been made in God’s Image
So only He can truly know if you are able
I can show you that I’m a prime example of this
In my late forties God Planted His seed in me
What would it be like to know Jesus and be Jewish
But God didn’t let it happen until almost sixty three
And God will give you or restore gifts that Glorify Him
Just like He restored my ability to write poetry
I feel so blessed because I can never do enough to Glorify
Father God and Yeshua who have set me spiritually free
Use your gifts so that others may know God
It will give you inner peace and pleasure
God’s reward for doing what is right and good

That the two testaments are joined as one
The old prophesied of the coming of Messiah
Fulfilled in the new through God’s only Son
The church needs to emphasize the old more often
To show people that their the Messiah is a Jew
Who came first for the Salvation of His people
And ultimately came for all of mankind too
I pray that You teach them oh Lord
Of their Jewish roots in the Messiah
So that they may preach Your Word

NOT TOO LATE
NOT TOO LATE
Some who have accepted the Lord’s Salvation
Revel in satan’s wicked ways and are still soiled
They need to confess their sins and walk away
To break satan’s hold that has kept them foiled
If they continue to hesitate they will not grow
In their walk to attain Spiritual Righteousness
They may be saved but when they are judged
The rewards they were seeking will be far less
No one has ever said that it would be an easy path
For the ways of satan bring temporary pleasures
A true believer will keep his focus on the mark

It’s not too late
What will you do
God has given you that choice
Now the decision is up to you

SEEKING ADVICE FROM MY READERS
The thanksgiving holiday is right around the corner and because I've recently had surgery this thought skipped my mind. The poem "THANKSGIVING" (below) was given to me through the Holy Spirit last year. I believe that just like the classic poem "The Night Before Christmas", I was given these words for all people to see, share, and enjoy, but I have not been able to find a venue for this to happen. THANKSGIVING

We’ll be spending our Thanksgiving
By driving over to Grandma’s house
Not a soul will go hungry
Not even a little mouse
She started preparing
On the night before
If there was anything missing
She sent Grandpa to the store
Everything must be perfect
On this day you see
For it isn’t very often
That we gather as a family
After a long trip we arrive there
The first thing we do is turn on the TV
To watch the Thanksgiving Day parade
There are marching bands and floats to see
Before we begin eating
We hold hands and pray
Thank you Lord for the blessings
That you have given us this day
And we also pray a special blessing for
The men and women who protect our liberty
Please God keep them safe from harm
They understand that freedom isn’t free
Then Grandpa says, “Let’s eat I’m starving.”
The first thing on the menu is soup in a cup
In the background we listen to Holiday music
This always helps us to keeps our spirits up
Uncle Charlie carves the turkey and
Asks if we want dark meat or white
And even with this many people
There will be plenty to take home tonight
Pass the gravy and the rolls please
The peas and sweet potatoes too
The cornbread stuffing is delicious
And may I have some apple cider too
When we finish with the main course
The women will help to put things away
While the men go and watch a football game
Actually there are several of them on TV today
Once everything else has been cleaned up
Grandma serves coffee and pumpkin pie
All of a sudden it feels like we’re stuffed
For same strange reason we wonder why
Before we head back to our homes
There are still two things to be done
First we help to set up the Christmas tree
Then we join hands and thank the Holy One
Thank you Lord for the blessings of this special day
We ask for traveling mercies and Your Grace again
May all of our hearts be filled with Your goodness
And to this prayer all of Your children say, “AMEN.”

A PRIDE THAT GIVES GOD ALL THE GLORY
A PRIDE THAT GIVES GOD ALL THE GLORY
Last week my younger daughter Shelby received
An award as Fulton County Teacher of the Year
The emotion that I felt for this accomplishment
Was felt by me with pride and many a tear
The award was followed by her acceptance speech
It was addressed not only to teachers but everyone there
It was so awesome that I felt more people should hear it
When it comes out I’ll be giving you the website to share
I make a joke about how smart she is and say that
More than likely it must have skipped a generation
In truth I know just where her motivation comes from
That has brought us all so much joy and jubilation
It comes from the talents of a grandfather and uncle
As well as her mother myself and her older sister too
Not stopping there she learns from all those around her
And a passion to share all of the good that she would do
I’m just as excited when it comes to my older daughter Natalie
Whose passion as an educator has also brought me great pride
As well as her giving me three wonderful grandkids to love
So many blessings from God give me goose bumps inside
I may not have that much of a claim to fame
My passion is that God is number one in my life
In return He has given me these blessings and more
And topped it off with Trudi my Godly loving wife

ONE AND THE SAME
Both the Jews and the Christians worship the same God
Many Jews don’t understand this which really is a shame
The reason is mostly because of their ignorance or pride
If they knew the truth they only have themselves to blame
God planned this from the beginning of time
The plurality in the Shema of the word Echad
God is omnipotent so He decides what is best
It doesn’t mean that there is more than one God
Because His people were looking for a Savior
God decided He would provide them with one
In the Tenach His prophets foretell of the future
Aka: the virgin birth through Miriam of God’s son
Only through a blood atonement are your sins forgiven
As written in the Torah God made that point very clear
Yeshua was the Perfect Lamb that God had provided
To absolve your sins thus not having the devil to fear
As written these sacrifices had to take place in the temple
Knowing that the temple was destroyed God would say
That through the perfect blood of His Perfect Lamb
God provided the atonement to make sin go away
Everything that was foretold in the Tenach of the coming Messiah
Was written originally in the Old Covenant by Jews for Jews
All you need to do is read the New Covenant to see the truth
Providing Yeshua for their Salvations was God’s good news
But Yeshua didn’t come just for the Jew’s Salvation
He came as God’s Messenger for all of mankind
For both man and woman to repent of their sins
Leaving all of their wicked worldly ways behind
One of the reasons why most Jews never saw the truth was
Because the Sadducees and Pharisees made the issue political
To accept Yeshua as Messiah would cost their power and wealth
Passing down falsehoods so that unbelievers wouldn’t be analytical
I’m asking them to have an open mind and see the truth for themselves
By reading the Word of God in both covenants from cover to cover
Messiah returns on the day of God’s choosing which only He knows

I thank God’s Lamb for a blessed day

I thank God for giving me another day
Taking time out to read His word
As well as to reflect and pray
Before each meal I ask the Lord’s blessing
Giving thanks for the nourishment I need
Because I trust in Him as my provider
Everything that happens is at God’s speed
One day God will call me to my final rest
He alone knows the day that it will be
I will be greeted by the Son of the Living God
Yeshua whose shed blood has set me Spiritually free

GODAND THE POKER HAND
GOD AND THE POKER HAND
There is a trilogy that bonds our love
But it’s all good and it’s not a mystery
Because the three who are involved
Are God my loving wife and me
The Lord is the key within our tryst
We both look for Him to show the way
His light has led us down us the right path
One from which We will never not stray
I believe that we both understand
As the sands of time go fleeting by
That our faith shows God is always first
And there’s no need to question why
God likens our lives to a poker hand
Because we have so much to share
Pointing out that three of a kind
Will always beat a pair

How can we describe the soul
Of the America we live in today
It’s a massive population
That is rebelling in dismay
The black man hates the white man
Just like the Gentile hates the Jew
The poor cry help and the rich sit back
The America that I know this isn’t you
It could very well be that I’m a dreamer
Perhaps some may classify me as a fool
But the America that I love and remember
Would live each day by the golden rule
The books they taught me with in school
Portrayed visions of a once great land
It was filled with a patriotic fervor
And a helping outstretched hand
America owes us absolutely nothing
She’s given everything that she has got
And when you really think about it
We actually owe her an awful lot
Just how far would we be now
If way back when we didn’t care
Nowhere near where we are today because
Each one pitched in doing their fair share
Even though we have come a long way since that time
Still the nation’s outstretched hand don’t reach us all
That may even be the reason given why
Some chose to evade their country’s call
What makes America tick today
Why does she scream and holler
It’s the obsession to climb to the top
Just to caress the almighty dollar
We built this country from nothing
With each generation giving more
To make it easier on the next one
A worth deed that we now deplore
It shows up in our present population
As we observe that ungrateful clown
Who wants to start at the very top
And slowly work their way on down
It’s a very touchy subject when we discuss
The present trying to compare it to the past
The solution is to do whatever we can
To solve the problems that were cast
The difficult part of this whole scenario
Is that I’m really not sure where to start
What about you yes you and you
Each one of us must do their part
The principles that I believe will make it work
Are hard work deep faith in God and loyalty
With a few transfusions in the right places
Life could go back to the way it used to be
There will be some who would disagree
And don’t feel the same way that I do
But over all America’s been good to me
Enough for me to shout out, “I love you.”
I could probably ramble on an on
About its good points and its bad
But I’m living here today and now
A fact for which I’m mighty glad
I’m asking for your hand to help restore
Us back to the land of the brave and free
A land of peace and brotherhood and love
That will include justice truth and liberty
I promise to do my utmost
To help us restore the lag
So let’s look ahead to the future America
And keep your eye on that grand old flag

ARE YOU OBSERVANT
A NOTE FROM THE POET:
Before I post this week’s 2 poems, I have a few comments. First, I want to thank all of my readers throughout the world for visiting my web site.
For those of you who don’t know me personally, I’ll expound on what is written on my blog bio. I was born to Jewish parents on Long Island. I have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren from my first marriage. After the Lord planted a seed in me in my late 40s, about what it would be like as a Jew to know my Jewish Messiah, Yeshua, (Jesus) He didn’t allow it to happen until just before my 63rd birthday. Although I started writing poetry in 1950, I hadn’t written in 25 years prior to my Salvation. The Lord reopened that door on the very first day of my renewed life and I have been serving Him through the words that He gives me (at any time, day or night) to share with you ever since. (Although my poetry is there for everyone, my mission is to reach the unsaved Jew. (like I was) for them to be completed in the truth of our Jewish Messiah.
In 2001, the Lord began to complete the cycle of my life, blessing me when He put a Godly woman in my life. Trudi and I were married in 2004.. I now have 2 more terrific daughters and 6 more grandchildren, as well as an adopted daughter and another grandson. (She’s the one who led me to the Lord & I adopted her (not legally) when she was30 years old.
For those who may no understand my Spiritual belief, Messianic Judaism is biblical Judaism. The unequivocal word from God as given to His Prophets and Apostles written in the complete bible from Genesis through Revelation. Messianic Judaism is Jews and Gentiles who worship Yeshua just like He worshiped Father God, by observing and celebrating all of God’s commanded festivals and keeping all Jewish customs and traditions.
For those who might say, “ He can’t be Jewish and know Jesus”, let me put that to rest. I was born a Jew and will die a Jew. Nothing will ever change that.
Lastly, and this goes for my worldwide readers as well, if you’re ever in the Atlanta, Ga. area, come worship with us at Congregation Beth Hallel in Roswell. The Sovereign Lord God of all creation
Gave us Commandments His set of rules
Many people choose to disregard them
God classifies every of them as fools
In the Old Testament sacrifices were made
An unblemished animal on the altar slain
Some were defiled and prayers unanswered
It was clearly God’s decision to abstain
To obey is better than sacrifice
God’s Son knew this to be True
But He did both and through His blood
God has forgiven the sins of me and you
Each one of us commits sin daily
Confessing is what keeps us whole
When we unload before the Lord
It’s a great way to cleans our soul
We won’t get past those pearly gates
By any good deeds that we have done
There’s just one way it will take place
When we accept and profess God’s Son
We will be judged for our righteousness
From those which are lesser to the great
And abide somewhere in the sphere
Of the Lord our God’s heavenly estate

WHO AM I
NOTE FROM THE POET: I AM POSTING 1 DAY EARLY THIS WEEK AS I AM GOING TO BE GOING ON A RIDE TOMORROW WITH THE KOSHER HOGS MOTORCYCLE CLUB FROM OUR CONGREGATION TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR SOME OF OUR TEEN AGE BELIEVERS WHO WILL BE GOING TO ISRAEL.
WHO AM I
Occasionally people will ask me just who I am
I’m a Father Grandfather Uncle cousin and friend
I am a servant of the Living God
On whose love I can always depend
I have children and grandchildren
That I absolutely love and adore
And because that love comes back to me
I really couldn’t ask for more
I’m an uncle cousin and friend who tries to keep up with
Things that are happening with my friends and family
But they’re so spread out throughout this country that
Sadly these are relatives and friends that I rarely see
I am a child of the Living God
I do my best to follow what he asks
It’s not always easy to comply
And I’m not always up to the tasks
The good thing that comes from this though
Is that I confessed my sins and I’m forgiven
That one blessing alone that God gives to me
Is more than enough to always keep me driven

FORGIVENESS
FORGIVENESS
God has a way of nudging me with
Word that come from the Holy Spirit
Sometimes like this they are meant
For certain people that need to hear it
We’ve just come through the High Holy Days
Asking God to forgive all of our sins
Since we are asking Him for a fresh start
It’s means that forgiveness from the past begins
I’m referring to something very specific
Families who have rejected their own
It’s time to put these differences aside
So that the seeds of love can be re-sown
I speak from personal knowledge
Although it didn’t happen to me
I saw it happen as a young man
To several members of my family
It was a different era back years ago
When a Jew and a Gentile were wed
They were ostracized by their family
Many of them were considered dead
But God and time has a way of interceding
A new birth or death brought them close again
If it could happen then it can happen now
To this end what I need to hear is an AMEN
If you’ve seen the movie Fiddler on the Roof
It happened to Tevya but even he forgave
Because if you deny one of God’s gifts
What you become is the devil’s slave
You may never understand your differences
But you must re-connect out of love
In the bigger picture you will be blessed
For it will be pleasing to God above

SEARCHING FOR THE ANSWER
I LOOK FORWARD TO ALL RESPONSES POSED BY THE QUESTION IN THIS POEM.

I’m in a quandary and since I don’t have the answer
I’m asking anyone who reads this to answer this plight
Why does it more often than not take a catastrophe
For the unsaved Jew to be open to Messiah’s Light
It’s exactly the same way Salvation happened to me
As written it was a Gentile who showed me the way
I don’t comprehend why we can’t think for ourselves
Is it satan’s trickery that is keeping so many away
God uses this catastrophe to take the blinders off
And like mine their lives will never be the same
So what’s the answer to why we can’t see the truth
Is it that we only have our closed minds to blame
The reason that I posed this question out there
Is to help me show all of the unsaved the way
So that they will spend their eternal life in heaven
And not suffer because they’ve gone the other way
The wake up call for both the unsaved Jews and Gentiles is
And I pray for both that Messiah’s Shalom fill their plate
The end days drawing nearer when the Lord will return

CHANGES

CHANGES
Life’s changes can bring many things
They could be good or could be bad
They affect people in different ways
Making them happy or sometimes sad
If these changes are good things
They show up in the joy it brings
But if they’re bad don’t get depressed
For God is in charge of all these things
And when things happen good or bad
God is showing you it’s for the best
The good brings instant happiness
The bad will put you through a test

CHANGES
Life’s changes can bring many things
They could be good or could be bad
They affect people in different ways
Making them happy or sometimes sad
If these changes are good things
They show up in the joy it brings
But if they’re bad don’t get depressed
For God is in charge of all these things
And when things happen good or bad
God is showing you it’s for the best
The good brings instant happiness
The bad will put you through a test

I’ve written a poem about a fireman
I’ve written about women in my life
I’ve written a tale about a lawman
And many poems to and about my wife
I’ve written a couple about some hospital stays
And numbers of them about friends and family
But mostly poems about the love I have of God
And how God can do for you what He did for me
I composed verses of reuniting with friends from my home town
God has given me one every year to hand out at our men's retreat
I’ve been blessed to have written a book of Spiritual poetry and
Run a web site for them many I thought worthy enough to repeat
I’ve written poems about Messiah being the Son of God
And many about the Lord being Jewish just like me
How Yeshua was God’s only perfect sacrificial lamb
Whose blood would set all the sins of mankind free
Telling about when you Accept Yeshua as your Messiah
How by this profession of faith it will set your spirit free
And about the day God calls you home to His Kingdom

A WAKEUP MESSAGE FOR THE UNSAVED JEW
****A NOTE FROM THE POET:
To my Jewish brothers and sisters. As we approach the High Holy Days. I've written this poem to show you about your Jewish Heritage in yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. The biblical facts written in the poem were all given to His Prophets by God and also passed down by the Disciples of Yeshua. All that I ask of you when you read it is to do so with an open mind, thinking objectively for yourself and not about what you have heard or been told by other sources.
A WAKEUP MESSAGE FOR THE UNSAVED JEW
I’m going to give you several examples
That are written in Old Testament
And some that are written in the New
To change your mind and set a precedent
We know that God formed the earth
And created both woman and man
You need to understand that this is proof
That whatever God wants to do He can
They may not be in chronological order
But none the less these facts are true
Fact one the Red Sea did not part itself
The walls of Jericho falling is fact two
When the boy David slew Goliath
Or the flood saving Noah in the ark
Only God made these things happen
They didn’t just happen on a lark
Do you see what I’ve written so far
This is what these facts say to me
So why couldn’t God put His Seed into Miriam
Who gave birth to Yeshua who set our sins free
What about the miracles that Yeshua performed
Like when He calmed the sea or His water walk
Only through God could this happen
It has to be much more than just talk
Admitting that these had to be acts of God
I’m asking you to walk in faith that is blind
Seeing these things that God makes happen
Profess Yeshua as the Messiah of mankind
I once felt just the same way as you
Because I took the rabbi at his word
Just like many who wear blinders
He passed on what he had heard
In the fifties some of these things would change
The rabbis finally admitted Yeshua was a Jew
But for reason known only to them and God
They would not accept Him as Messiah too
There are so many more facts that you need to know
Like the prophesies in the old that the New fulfilled
Only through a blood atonement are your sin forgiven
Yeshua is the only Perfect Lamb whose blood was spilled
Just because the second temple was destroyed
Does not mean that now sin does not exist
God never changed these words that He spoke because
He knew satan would make things too hard to resist
All I’m saying is what have you got to lose
He’s either Messiah or a man who was mad
In Him you’re still a Jew but a completed one
As your understand more it will make you glad
I can not force this blessing on you
But I know if you profess His name
See the facts and use common sense
I guarantee you will never be the same

NOAH'S OBEDIENCE
NOAH’S OBEDIENCE
There came a time when God was sad
That He created man in the first six days
For most did not acknowledge Him
But set their lives in wicked ways
Of the multitude of God’s children
All that would stand out was one
Who showed obedience and reverence
For all of the things that God had done
This man whose name was Noah
Was told by God to build an ark
God would unleash a horrific rainstorm
And the world would become very dark
All of the people who saw him building the ark
Scoffed at the task that God had told Noah to do
When the ark was finished being built
He loaded all of the animals two by two
Once this was done and his family aboard
As God foretold He unleash torrential rain
Forty days and nights later the earth was flooded and
All of the wicked doubters would never be seen again
Finally when all the rain had stop and
The earth flooded as God had planned
Noah released a dove to search
For a place where he could land
When the dove came back
And dry land was found
All of animals were set free
For their population to abound
The reward that was gave Noah and his family
Some may have thought of to be somewhat odd
Long life and procreation was the gift that
He would receive for his obedience to God

Who was living in a very beautiful house
Unfortunately her life was in shambles
All because of her philandering spouse
She thought to herself I have several choices
I could get a divorce and kick the bum out
But the vows that we took were for better or worse
To love honor and cherish that’s what it’s all about
So she went to him with an ultimatum
Seek some help or this marriage is done
Talk with our pastor seeking his counsel
He’ll put you in touch with God’s only Son
Her husband told her that he was willing to change
And would do what it took to win back her love
So he went to his church and talked to the pastor
Who told him to seek forgiveness from the Lord above
He took the pastor’s advice prayed and read his bible
Repenting for all that he had put his wife through
Through God and Messiah he became a changed man
With a spiritually renewed heart like a child born anew
They were only married for a couple of years
When all of this turmoil disrupted their life
It took God’s time and love to make everything right
They just celebrated fifty years as husband and wife

11TH OF SEPTEMBER ( A DAY WE MUST NEVER FORGET)
11th OF SEPTEMBER
This poem is dedicated to the men and women
Who lost their lives on the 11th of September
It was a horrific day in modern history
Which most Americans will long remember
The cowards who were responsible for this disaster
Were Muslim fanatics who must have been insane
And although we still mourn for those we have lost
We must make sure that this doesn’t happen again
This day has brought the citizens of our great nation
Who live from border to border and shore to shore
To a patriotic fervor not unlike the one
That we had seen so many years before
Make no mistake for their leaders
Will be caught and punished too
If it is not by us then by the Lord our God above
For His is the final judgment of what all of us do
Just know that through the memories
And as a way to help get past the pain
That one day when we ascend to our eternal rest
We’ll see those friends and loved ones once again

When you become engrossed in it you’ll see

And that many of the blessings that He pour out

For the more they have the more they want
And they tithe an even lesser part

Is to honor the Lord’s request

WHO DO YOU BELIEVE
WHO DO YOU BELIEVE
Scientists are working on a breakthrough
On the production of the human clone
My personal feelings about this subject is
That they need to leave well enough alone
That they don’t believe in God and Creation
Is something that is really quite obvious
If shown proof that contradicts their theory
They portray an attitude that’s quite oblivious
They point to dinosaurs and cavemen
Saying that they’re millions of years old
But who are they to measure God’s time
If the truth of the matter were to be told
To the average person this seems like many years
But it may only be a millisecond in God’s Time
In a time frame that only He knows the reason for
The only reaction that we can show is to be sublime
All of the miracles which God has produced
Happened because He has made them viable
For He and He alone is our Father and Creator
If you require proof of this just read your bible
Only God can make all of these things known
To some people this is still hard to conceive
He will always do whatever He thinks is best
And all that He is asking of you is to believe

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
The world that we are living in today
Could possibly not be here tomorrow
And those who doubt God’s warning
Could soon be wallowing in sorrow
The bible says that only God knows exactly
What day His wrath will ravage the earth
And believers that know His saving Grace
Know exactly how much that day is worth
God warned us in the New Covenant of wars
Rumors of wars earthquakes floods and such
If you do not see theses things happening now
I believe that you are completely out of touch
I did not say that it was imminent
Obviously God will make that call
We know about yesterday and today
But not if tomorrow He will end it all
Your life on earth will be not be a pleasant one
When God finally chooses to show His Wrath
If you are searching for a way out of this dilemma
I can tell you that it is by following in God’s Path
The only way to do this is by professing that
Yeshua is the Messiah and is your Salvation
And for the forgiveness of your sin for you to
Enter God’s Kingdom with joy and jubilation
I can not make this decision for you but
I have pointed out what you need to do
Surely you don’t want to befriend satan
But God has left that decision up to you

Growing old is not a job for sissies

With all the problems that it brings
Thank God we still have Medicare
Those Ritis brothers have taken over
Each of our bones from top to bottom
And if any teeth that we have are ours
We’re lucky that we’ve still got them
Remembering things that we need to do
Has also not been the easiest of tasks
The batteries in the hearing aids
Seem to wear out much too fast
These are just a handful of so many things
That are a part of the process of growing old
But the advantages far outweigh the problems
And are worth so much more than silver or gold
No more getting up early to go to work
Now we can do more things we enjoy
It’s a feeling like some children get
Just playing with a brand new toy
We get to enjoy the grandkids a lot more
As they get older and continue to grow
Telling them things from our experiences

THE TEMPLE
THE TEMPLE
Those who have accepted the Lord’s Salvation
Know that God’s Holy Spirit live inside of you
Which also makes your body His Holy Temple
It must stay pure in everything you say and do
How many of us are guilty of
Not taking care of this Holy place
My hand is raised along with yours
I know that I tend to over feed my face
Or remember to take medication
At the time that it says we should
Or see the doctor when we need to
Even though it’s for our own good
These are just a few of satan’s tricks
That are meant to throw you off track
By not taking care of this God given gift
Satan’s sinful ways could easily come back
Should you respond, “ But I’ve been saved,
And all of my sins have all been forgiven.”
That doesn’t mean that you won’t sin again
Staying Holy to God should keep you driven
The best way I know to avoid these temptations
Is to read your bible and dwell on God’s Word
The one thing that I will personally attest to is that

THE ANNIVERSARY OF GOD’S PLAN
On August nineteenth exactly ten yeas ago
I received a phone call that changed my life
I had posted an internet ad on match.com
Looking for a steady girlfriend or a wife
I actually put her off because I was in the middle
Of conversing with a friend with a troubled past
She didn’t mind and called me back that night
God knew that when we connected it would last
Later that night we talked for two and one half hours
Many things that were said I can’t exactly remember
We both knew that God orchestrated it from day one
And I asked her to marry me the following December
Although we had to wait for two and a half years
Both of us knew it would be well worth the wait
From day one there has never been any doubt
That God constantly puts blessings on our plate
In a couple of months we’ll be married seven years
It feels like the two of us have never been apart
Not a day passes that we’re not there for each other
And after God we’re number one in each other’s heart
I haven’t mentioned a specific four letter word
Because I really didn’t believe there was a need
It’s the unending love we have for one another
We know that it was God who planted that seed
I could go on and on telling you many things
About us that you would like to hear or see
But what you would see when you got to know us is that
With God in our lives we’ll be together through eternity

GOD'S FREE GIFT
GOD’S FREE GIFT
The words to a song that you may know are
What the world needs now is love sweet love
Although we could use it more here on earth
We have an everlasting supply from God above
How much more could God love us
Nothing can come close to measure
I doubt that we could ever do the same
For He gave to us His greatest treasure
God sacrificed His only begotten Son
And He did it just for you and me
The unblemished blood of Messiah
Rendered the sins of mankind free
Now you see just how much God loves you
In return this is all that He asks of you
Profess God’s Son as your Messiah and Savior
It’s really not a very difficult thing to do
That is nowhere near where the blessing ends
There are more gifts than you could measure
Eternity within God’s Kingdom free from strife
And a mansion to store your heavenly treasure
The words to a song that you may know are

I’d like to tell you a story
About Jonathan McKlusky
He is a very tall and gentle man
And is also very husky
Jonathan works as a fireman
He is very dedicated to his field
No matter what the danger was
Everyone knew he would never yield
One day there was a horrific fire
In the project section of the town
And because it spread so rapidly
Many buildings had burned down
As people were scurrying to get out
He heard the sheik of a child’s loud cry
Jonathan went inside the burning building
Without hesitating or stopping to think why
Even though the fire burned all around him
He brought the child out safe and sound
He was greeted by a rousing cheer
As the people gathered all around
In particular there was a couple
A happy man and his tearful wife
They couldn’t stop thanking him
Because he had saved their baby’s life
The town gave him a medal and said,
“Our heartfelt thanks go out to you.”
He replied and said, ”You’re welcome,
But this is the job that I’m paid to do.”

SHOWING REVERENCE IN GOD"S HOUSE
SHOWING REVERENCE IN GOD'S HOUSE
Unless you’re looking to be judged yourself
The Lord said that you shouldn’t judge others
And although I know that I have many faults
I have questions of my spiritual sisters and brothers
When you enter a religious sanctuary
I assume that do so with total respect
But if you were to look just a little bit closer
These are some things on which to reflect
Is your phone on silent during the service
If not I’d ask you to please turn it off
The sound that it makes is very disruptive
Much more so than a sneeze or a loud cough
Something else that needs to be addressed
Is about the type of clothing that you wear
You need not be dressed to the nines but
How you’re dressed may show how you care
Would you wear jeans to a new job interview
Maybe if your qualifications were the very best
God’s standards are much higher than employers
What makes you feel that you would pass His test
But if all that you own is jeans and tee shirts
Then God bless you come worship as you are
Wearing shorts a mini skirt or low cut blouse
Perhaps you should worship from your car
Then there is also the oblivious parent
Whose child is not quiet during service
I come to God’s House to praise Him and
Frankly all that noise makes me nervous
Sitters are provided for this purpose
Using it would be showing great respect
I’ve had my say and made my points
Now all I’m asking is for you to reflect
If I were doing something disrespectful
I would ask you to tell me the same way
Because the purpose of being at a service
Is to worship the Lord our God and pray

ONLY YOU CONTROL YOUR DESTINY
ONLY YOU CONROLE YOUR DESTINY
We’re living in a world today where
Millions of people are gripped with fear
But Lord there is also a remnant who
Understand that You are always near
As we are believers in the Ever Living God
We need to spread the gospel’s living word
And tell everyone to have blind faith
Believing everything that they have heard
They may ask, “How can you say that?”
I say, “Don’t let this moment pass you by.”
The bible tells us of our past and future
And we know that God can’t tell a lie
God’s word will help to ease your pain
And will give your soul uplifting life
They ask me, “How can I do this,
And rid my days of all this strife?”
You must profess belief in Messiah
And ask forgiveness for your sins
It’s your ticket to eternal life
That is where it all begins
It makes things so much easier to
Live in this world of harsh reality
Knowing that Messiah will be returning
But only God knows the time and day exactly

THE GLORY OF GOD
THE GLORY OF GOD
Lord there is no end to how much I love You
It’s out there in plain sight for everyone to see
Although I’ve felt this way for my entire life
It was the truth in Messiah that has set me free
Free to love my fellow man and woman
Even those with whom I may disagree
To turn the other cheek when necessary
And pray for the forgiveness of my enemy
All have sinned coming short of God’s Glory
Each and every one of us that is except for one
Messiah Yeshua who gave His life to save ours
Our Lord who just happens to be God’s Son
All that we can do is be the best that we can be
To follow the example which the Lord has set
God knows Every one of our thoughts and deeds
The path that we choose He will never forget
The end of that path leads to eternal life
A reward with riches beyond measure
To bask in the Glory of the Lord our God
Face to face the greatest of all treasure

MAKING A MARRIAGE WORK
MAKING A MARRIAGE WORK
The thoughts that came to me for you today
Are just some thoughts that I think are best
And when you read the words I’ve written
You’ll know the reason why I’m so blessed
I didn’t give this much thought until today
Because I know that it’s the right thing to do
And as you read more into this poem
I know by your faith that you will too
My wife just had surgery to replace both knees
Whatever help she would need later I'd be there
She had always been there when I’ve needed her
It’s a small part of the marital bond that we share
The secret of a happy marriage is really not a secret
So many individuals seem to do things for themselves first
If you will follow this doctor’s prescription religiously
The bubble in your marriage will never burst
Who is this doctor that can cure any problem
It’s Doctor Yeshua and His cure is not magic
But if you’re too blind to use His prescription
I am sad to say that the end will be tragic
This is the greatest advice that you can follow
You must put God First family next and then you
Follow what's written in this biblical prescription
And God’s blessing impacts everything you say and do
God needs to always be Number One in your life
If it wasn’t for Him where would you be
Your family is next in the chain of importance
Then you can handle any personal needs you see
When you bond with God through the Holy Spirit
The rest of your life will just fall into place
Until the day comes for your eternal reward
And are blessed to see your Creator face to face

THE TREE OF LIFE
The tree of life is blessed with many branches
Its foundation was grown from Jewish roots
Over time many of the branches have withered
Which meant that many would not bear fruits
However each one of the fruits that flourished
Believe that Yeshua is the son of God and man
But many decaying branches can still flourish
By repenting and believe in Him as Lord they can
I implore you not to let your branches wither
You can turn your life around this very day
When a branch blossoms it leads to heaven
Those that stay withered will go the other way
The tree of life is blessed with many branches

FULFILMENT
FULFILLMENT
In a crisis many people question God’s motives
They ask, “Lord, why have you forsaken me?”
Instead ask what you can do to set things right
Remember God sacrificed His Son to set you free
No matter what the circumstances may be
Your faith in God is your strength to believe
If this is you God hears what you’ve prayed
The Will of the Father is what you’ll receive
Fortify your faith with strength courage and love
And though the answer may not be what you seek
Do not despair just trust in whatever His decision
Knowing that His glory abides in the humble and meek
Every one of us sins in some form each and every day
Although we’ve been forgiven we must let God know
That it comes from the flesh not His Spirit within us
By doing this you’ve delivered satan quite a blow
As much as you profess your love of God
In His Grace and Mercy He loves you more
When He decides that you’re needed in heaven
Believing in Messiah you’ll walk through His door
There will come a time when you will be judged

GOD IS YOUR SALVATION
GOD IS YOUR SALVATION
There are so many reasons why
God loves you as He does
He’s a loving but sometimes a jealous God but
You know He’s the one who will be is and was
He is also the Living God
For His Spirit lives in you
You know you’re walking with the Lord
By all of the things that you say and do
If you’re obedient and show reverent fear
You will always receive God’s Grace
And when you reach His heavenly kingdom
The first thing you’ll want to do is to seek His Face
You got a get past go card
When Messiah gave His life
To cleans you of all earthly sins
And bear the burden of your strife
Signs point that we’re somewhere in the end days
As Believers we know that He’ll return for us all
So keep focused as you toward the Eastern skies
And listening for the resounding trumpet’s call

DEALING WITH FRUSTRATION
Have you ever had one of those days
When everything that could goes wrong
It may just start with something small
Like mentally repeatedly singing the same song
Then you go to get on the computer and
The server has changed things around
You keep trying to get into your email
But sadly it’s nowhere to be found
So you decide to take out the daily trash
The bag is overflowing and it’s very heavy
It tears and everything falls all over the place
And your clothes get covered with gravy
Finally when you get the mess cleaned up
You open the door and the dog escapes
It makes you wonder what else could go wrong
So far your day has been filled with sour grapes
That’s the time when you need to pause
You need to take one giant step back
If the rest of the day continues on like this
You’re just liable to cause a heart attack
Instead of fretting about all that has happened
There is something else that you can do
Just turn these frustrations over to the Lord
And then you can start the day anew
The Lord will bear your burden
By yourself you can’t fix the mess
Move on with the rest of the day
And God will take care of the rest
Stay calm and go about your business
It’s amazing how it will all work out
All because you let go and let God
That’s really what it’s all about
Have you ever had one of those days
When everything that could goes wrong
It may just start with something small
Like mentally repeatedly singing the same song
Then you go to get on the computer and
The server has changed things around
You keep trying to get into your email
But sadly it’s nowhere to be found
So you decide to take out the daily trash
The bag is overflowing and it’s very heavy
It tears and everything falls all over the place
And your clothes get covered with gravy
Finally when you get the mess cleaned up
You open the door and the dog escapes
It makes you wonder what else could go wrong
So far your day has been filled with sour grapes
That’s the time when you need to pause
You need to take one giant step back
If the rest of the day continues on like this
You’re just liable to cause a heart attack

WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN
WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN
Jew and Gentile worshiping together
With but one common goal
To acknowledge our God and Messiah
Whose Holy Name we must extol
When Yeshua returns to bring us home
No longer will there be wars or strife
But a mansion in God's Kingdom
Where our souls will know eternal life
Preparation for this glorious end time begins with
Setting examples in all that you say think and do
And also by following the laws that God decreed
For as long and as much as you are able
When the time of the Lord's Glory is at hand
Rejoice for you will see Him face to face
And the peace He brings to the whole world
Will be shown with abundant love and grace

PRIORITIES
My first is to the God of all creation
Who I will always love and obey
He also should be your number one
If not you can change all that today
For without God we would not have
All of the things that are to follow
Our lives would be like a bitter pill
Which would be very hard to swallow
But because of God’s only Son
Whose blood cleansed all of sin
Eternal life is yours if you profess Him
The key to heaven’s gate that lets you in
Priority number two goes to my family
My wife children and grandchildren too
God has set all of these priorities in order
His blessings abound if you will too
Then comes number three which is to myself
It is to keep a healthy body and clean mind
While spreading the good news of Messiah
To all non believers throughout mankind
The fourth is to be thankful for my job
But because of the fact that I’m retired
I volunteer whenever and wherever I can
Without question this is spiritually inspired
And the very last one is to my congregation
Where I will serve in whatever way I can
I show myself friendly to all who are visitors
A blessing given to me by the Son of man
God says that this is not a test or quiz

REVELATION
REVELATION
I am a Jewish Believer in Yeshua
I also happen to be legally blind
So I read my bible on the computer
Seeing the follies existing in mankind
Whether you call it fact or call it theory
If you’re a believer you know what I mean
The end of end days is drawing nearer
And the Lord’s Revelation is being seen
Many predictions written in the bible
Started happening over sixty years ago
Things have gotten even more intense
Especially in the last few years or so
I shouldn’t have to tell you what they are
You’ve heard or read about them every day
God knows exactly when that day will come
The only recourse we have is to kneel and pray
For even as believers we still commit sin every day
And yet we’re forgiven by the blood of God’s Son
Confess your sins to God and ask for His forgiveness
To receive Mercy and Grace from the Holy One
When the day comes that Messiah returns
He will judge us by our unselfish deeds
Our faith and redemption got us this far and
Then for eternity God will fulfill all our needs

At the time I was pursuing someone else
I didn’t know that I was in for a big surprise
I told you that you’d hear from me
If who I was pursuing didn’t work out
It didn’t so I decided to call you back
That’s what these single sites are all about
As I perceive it we clicked instantly
There were so many reasons why
The next day you came to visit me
And I said that we should give it a try
There is no question in my mind
That the decision was no mistake
Since I was looking for a relationship
The final choice was yours to make
If the two of us can grow together
In our love of God as well as in life
The next thing that I’d ask you is
Would you honor me and be my wife
Until then and throughout our lifetime

BRITTLE
The word brittle in the dictionary is defined
As something that can easily be broken
It can be equated to many different things
Like your feelings when harsh words are spoken
If you are the one who caused it
You need to have a contrite spirit
Apologize and make things right
And when you do must really mean it
God made you both strong and brittle
In body and mind so that He could mold you
He also chose to make you in His image
His Holiness will see the process through
The body of God’s Son was brittle
As Yeshua hung on that tree of sacrifice
His death is the reason for your salvation
And your free pass to join God in paradise
But there is only one way for this to happen
If you profess Yeshua as your Lord and Savior
Confessing sorrow for your sinful ways
Brings enormous changes in your spiritual behavior
Now you’ll think twice before speaking harsh words
You’ll be there to support those in need
Because you heard God’s message and repented

In the beginning of time God created
Heaven and earth and everything therein
And when He created man and woman
His plan was to make them free of sin
Soon after this satan reared his ugly head
Which resulted in an extreme upheaval
Adam and Eve ate fruit from the forbidden tree
The tree which contained both good and evil
On and on throughout the course of time and history
Whatever God set in motion satan sought to destroy
After so many times of having been defeated
You’d think he’d learn not to mess with Adonai
But like a bad penny he keeps popping up
Creating havoc to edify his own reputation
And that is why God gave us His only Son
Whose sacrificed blood would bring Salvation
Although sin still continues to this very day
Yeshua is the antidote that destroys satan’s grip
One day the Lord will return triumphantly
Destroying satan forever sending him on his final trip

ONLY IN GOD'S TIME
This poem was written especially to those who believed that they could predict the end day in the hope that they would reread their bibles to see that ONLY God will make that decision and that NO ONE ELSE will know the exact day, hour or minute.

So much to do so little time until the end day
In a few days is what some people are saying
When that day comes and it doesn’t happen
They need to seek forgiveness when they pray
I know some very Godly people who’ve compared scripture
To current events and some within the last sixty-three years
They’ve come up with possible dates a few years down the road
But they don’t push the issue so as not to predicate mass fears
Although they know that these events line up with scripture
Because of blind faith they know that this is only God’s decision
God showed us how to circumvent that day without living in fear
The blood sacrifice of Messiah was His eternal provision
Faith is the evidence of things not yet seen
Trust in all things that God has to say

WALKING WITH THE LORD
WALKING WITH THE LORD
I try to walk in God’s path daily
At times satan has caused me to stumble
But the Lord was there to pick me up
Because I obeyed Him and did not grumble
Can you say the same for yourself
Are you covered by God’s Grace
Do you know that Yeshua gave His life
For you to have eternal life in a special place
If you are one of God’s lost sheep
Let me tell you what you need to do
Show remorse for your sin and profess Yeshua as Messiah
To keep satan from having a permanent hold on you
I know that it’s not an easy task
I too once waked in your shoes
Reading the bible from Genesis thru Revelation
I knew that Yeshua was the bearer of good news
When God decides that the time is right
You will be lifted up to His Kingdom high
There will be a mansion waiting just for you
All because you didn’t pass God’s Blessing by

I feel like I’m in need of a vacation
Yet I’m not sure where I want to go
Should I fly up north to Canada
Or perhaps go south to Mexico
Maybe I’ll take a cruise to Alaska but
I really don’t like the cold or the snow
Hawaii might be nice this time of year
To see the hula dancers put on a show
I might like to take a flight to Paris
It has many tours and fun things to do
There is one small problem though
My French is limited to parley vou
With so many fantastic places to choose from
I just can’t seem to decide which one’s the best
So I’ll just go for a dip in my swimming pool

POSTING POEMS ON MOTHER'S DAY ONE DAY EARLY
I’m posting my Mother’s Day and 2nd poem 1 day early to be able to spend more time with my wife and family on Mother’s Day, but before I do, I am also posting an interesting commentary prior to the poetry on the recent killing of Osama Bin Ladden. Please be sure to read the whole article.
I have nothing but high praise for the U.S. Military and the Navy Seals who killed Bin Ladden. But take heed, he will be replaced and terrorism will continue. I say this as I look back from the beginning of time. It has always been good vs. evil, God versus satan, and throughout history, even though it happen by His timetable, God ALWAYS wins. An interesting fact which I just learned (this shows how God works) was that on May 1st when the BBC had announced that Bin Ladden had been killed, on that exact same date in 1945 they announced that Adolph Hitler had been killed. Interesting enough, May 1st was also Yom Ha Shoa. ( Holocaust Rememberance day) Those of us who are believers in the Living God and know the truth, know that this process of wars and terrorism will continue. There is only one occurrence that will put an end to all tyranny and oppression, and that is the return of Yeshua Ha Meschiach (Jesus Christ) Those who doubt this will have a rude awakening upon His return. And that’s all I have to say about that. Now please continue on to this weeks 2 poems.

Lately it seems like I wait to the last minute
To write a poem to my wife for Mother’s Day
I could repeat things that I’ve written in the past
But there are always new more wonderful things to say
In my lifetime I have never met anyone
Who is a more wonderful mother and wife
Our children will attest to this
I thank God for putting her in my life
Yes just like any normal couple we may get
On each other’s nerves and occasionally disagree
Unlike the Lord we are nowhere near perfect
But our faith always sets these issues free
I’ll spend whatever time that the Lord gives me
Trying to make her life as easy as can be
And I know that my loving wife
Will do exactly the same for me
The blessing that comes with being together
Is that our life together will never end
For I know that I’ll be spending eternity

God's chosen Messiah is coming back
He is the only one who knows when
Interpreting scripture it could be soon
Will you be prepared if it happens then
The only way to be one with G-d
Is to profess acceptance of His Son
Yeshua is the only true Messiah
Of the world and is Israel's Holy One
In His short time on this earth he would
Heal the sick and preached G-d's word
And although multitudes accepted Him
The Pharisees listened but had not heard
He was put on trial as a heretic
But would not defend his action
Death by crucifixion or so they had thought
Would bring the Pharisees much satisfaction
But God the Father had other plans
Messiah was the only perfect lamb
Sacrificed to absolve all sin forever and
Bring Salvation through The Great I Am
Now's the time get your act together
Profess Yeshua with a joyous shout
Don't try to look for any other answer
For if you do you'll surely be left out
God's chosen Messiah is coming back

And although multitudes accepted Him
The Pharisees listened but had not heard
He was put on trial as a heretic
But would not defend his action
Death by crucifixion or so they had thought
Would bring the Pharisees much satisfaction
But God the Father had other plans
Messiah was the only perfect lamb
Sacrificed to absolve all sin forever and
Bring Salvation through The Great I Am

HOLY SPIRIT
Holy Spirit come and fill me
With abundant love and joy
For I’m born again in you Lord
Just like a newborn baby boy
Lord I ask for very little
Yet you give me much
You laid down your life for me
To you I will always cling and clutch
I’m just one of your many children
That One-day will dwell in heaven above
This world needs you now my Lord
To bring us abundant peace and love
Until a day that the Father chooses

I’m sure that you’ve heard it said
That no news is good news
This may be true of worldly ways if
You’re too busy or a couch potato or recluse
How much joy is spread listening to or read the news
Much of it is about murder or robbery or rape
If you would really like a reprieve from these hysterics
I’ll be glad to tell you exactly how you can escape
Take your dusty bible off of the shelf
If it contains both testaments that’s great
If you only have one go and buy the other
I implore you for your sake don’t hesitate
When you read from Genesis through Revelation you’ll discover
That the Old Testament prophesies are fulfilled in the New
It shows us that Messiah Yeshua is the Son of God
He was born of the flesh and worshiped God the Father as a Jew
Yeshua was the only one to fulfill the prophesies
He preached God’s word even after He died
The non- believers testified falsely against Him
Which is the reason that He was crucified
Three days later He rose again and proclaimed
That He was the Light the Truth and the Way
By forgiveness of sin and profession of faith
Only through Him could you be with God one day
I don’t believe that no news is good news
Only when He returns will the news be good

COMMENTART - PLEASE READ !!!
THIS WEEK'S 2 POEMS TO FOLLOW MY COMMENTARY:
As of May 1st I will be out of my current volunteer job The Cobb County Board of Commissioners has voted to close the county Senior Day Care Center as part of a process to trim the county's budget debt.
The reason that I'm writing this is not out of concern for myself. At almost seventy-four, I am still of sound enough mind that I will find another volunteer job. ( although I would much rather stay at the center. It is such a blessing to be able to work with both the clients and the staff.) It is about the clients and their families and the staff at the center as well as the callous disregard for their welfare by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.
This center has been in existence for quite a few years and its clients are seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease as well as some with physical problems who require wheelchairs and some with other medical issues, who are able to utilize the center, which also gives their family members the time to accomplish other things such as working to pay for their care at the center.
The care (and love) that they get from the staff (which also includes a meal and a snack) give the clients a new lease on life. There are many activities to keep them mentally challenged and alert as well as an exercise program and volunteer entertainment from individuals or groups that come in to entertain them. Many of the client's family members have commented on how they can see the difference in them when they come home for the day.
I understand that the commissioners need to bring down the budget deficit. but I believe that their reasoning is somewhat bias. They chose to keep ALL libraries open because so many people objected. However the did not listen to the Seniors. Close just a few libraries and keep the Senior Day center alive. Besides throwing away a program, it’s as though they have total disregard for the disabled seniors in the community.
Not only there, but they chose to cut the essential services of our fire and police departments. I wonder how they would feel if their house was on fire or they were being robbed, when the fire department or police department did not arrive in sufficient time to help them because of a shortage of manpower. Or if they or their family members needed special care because of medical problems.
I cannot speculate on why they would not raise taxes by a small amount ( which would raise funds from ALL the people in the county) to help deplete the county deficit, but I would offer them a suggestion. Take away the money being given to illegal aliens i.e. the free medical services that are depleting the funds in our county's budget AND THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT!!! SING
Sing to the Lord an old psalm
Like King David did as he played the lyre
His zest for the Lord was unquenchable
Like that of a raging fire
For he was a man after God’s own heart
And though he sinned he was forgiven
His zest to be echad with God
Was the force that kept him dtriven
Sing to the Lord a new song
Shout of the joy salvation brings
Remember that Yeshua died for us

GOD’S MENTAL TAPE RECORDER
When God gives me too many thoughts at once
Through the power of His Holy Spirit
I sort them into cassettes within my brain
Then I replay each one to hear it
God truly has a sense of humor though
Sometimes the words are not in order
And if I’m not sure where to put them
He says to rewind my mental tape recorder
What He suggests always seems to work
Yet every so often the words get misplaced
When I try to remember what they were
Somehow the tape always seems to get erased
And sometimes when I least expect it
They pop out of nowhere and come back
Which enables me to put them into verse
Because God has put my mind on track
God gave us a brain for a very good reason
Not to clutter it with sinful worldly things
But to fill it with clear and pure thoughts

GOING HOME
GOING HOME
The Lord God above is my shepherd
He provides me with all that I need
Yet I do get impatient knowing it's wrong
For all that God does is only at His speed
Forgive me Lord for the sin of impatience
I will serve and obey whenever You call
My life would be barren without knowing You
From Your Grace and Mercy I pray not to fall
My pen will glorify Messiah and tell about
How His blood paid for my transgressions
Through Yeshua I have eternal life in heaven
With an abundant storehouse of spiritual possessions
When that glorious day does come to pass
And I am standing before Him face to face
I will bow before God and express my gratitude
For allowing me to dwell in a much better place

ON THE CUSP
ON THE CUSP
All that you need to do is to look around to see
That things her and around the world are in a mess
I try not to let it get to me because
I know that I would get depressed
Individually I can’t fix the problem
I doubt seriously if anyone can
Yet there is one who can change things around
He is the Lord our God and the son of man
Knowing that I can’t but someday He will
I can look forward to my final place of rest
Where there is no strife just peace and love and
God says, “Welcome, You have passed the test.”

Yeshua told John, “You will deny Me three times
Before the time that I will die.”
And when it happened just as He said
John cried and pondered on the reason why
Some of the other men who followed Yeshua
Still did not understand so many things
Then they received the Ruach Ha Kodesh and
Understood the peace that God’s Salvation brings
They were empowered by the Holy Spirit
To first bring the Good News to the Jew
Many could not or would not accept this
Then Salvation came to the Gentiles too
Multitudes of Gentiles received God’s Gift
But because many Jews had hardened hearts
God chose to soften them but only in His time
And among them rebirth of the faith would start
Now they worship as the Lord has intended and
Together are seeing many signs of the end time
When Messiah returns it will bring to an end
Such things as hunger disease fornication and crime

When things aren’t going the way you’d like
It’s because your primary focus is on you
So stop and ask this question of yourself
Just exactly what would Yeshua do
Now self is not necessarily a bad thing
If you put it in the proper perspective
God first then family and lastly self
This is the correct way to be objective
When you follow these three easy guidelines
Your personal wants may still come to be
If not don’t let it get to you because
The first two take priority over I and me
In His situation what did Yeshua do
He gave his life to absolve all sin
When you stop focusing on yourself
God’s blessings will come pouring in

He wants you to be the best you can Show the Show the Lord much you love Him

And in Heaven He will call you great

LISTENING TO THE RUACH HA KODESH
Listening to the Ruach Ha Kodesh
I hear a still small voice within me
It’s the Holy Spirit calling out to me today
Telling me that I’ve got unresolved issues
About which I need to take the time to pray
Within the solitude of my prayer closet
I said, “Lord, You know my every thought.”
So I’m putting these problems in Your hands
You said that if I do I’d never be distraught
** THE RUACH HA KODESH IN HEBREW IS THE HOLY SPIRIT.
