LIFE GOES ON AND ON AND ON

life goes on and on and on

When friends or loved ones pass away

And sorrowful tears are shed

We cry because we miss them so

But tears are for the living not the dead

You may say, “how dare he write such words as this”

Let me explain the reason why

Perhaps it will help you to understand

It is o.k. you still can cry

God has called the one you love

It was their time to be precise

With Messiah and through God’s grace

They have gone on to paradise

As our tears subside in time

God will call us one day too

And the loved ones that was missed so much

Will spend eternal life with you

The words that you're about to read

May offend you but that's O. K.

I received them from the Holy Spirit

And this is what I was told to say

Multitudes of Jews and Gentiles

Have accepted salvation through God's Son

God has a purpose for every one of us

A purpose which many have not yet begun

It's a blessing to praise and worship the Lord

But deeds and works are a part of the plan

To give service to the Holy One

Is pleasing to the Son of God and man

We've all been given ministries

Besides spreading the good news

To serve God when and where we can

It's something that many believers still refuse

Each house of God is filled with needs

A blessing that everyone can fulfill

It just takes a bit of time and effort

As well as having a sacrificial will

Find some way to serve the Lord

Become a blessing on God's living tree

For God almighty sacrificed his only son

So that all of mankind could be free

UNBURDEN YOURSELF

UNBURDEN YOURSELF

Are you going though financial burdens

Do they cause you severe depression

Perhaps God is testing your resolve

Because His economy is never in recession

He has commanded us to tithe faithfully

Give Him ten percent right off the top

If you think that all your bills come first

You'd better put that notion to a stop

Why not take a moment to reflect on this

Do you want your storehouse to overflow

By tithing faithfully you will be blessed

In Malachi 3:10 the bible tells you so

Step away from the illogical reasoning that says to

Pay your debts first and if there is left over to give

For if you pray to God to help you solve this problem

His Response will show you that it's not the way to live

Why not go to the Lord in prayer and say,

"Yes Lord I am listening and I will obey"

And later as you reflect upon your action

Most likely your hardship has gone away

Then go to God with a prayer of thanks

For cleansing you of your worldly ways

Walk the narrow path of righteousness and

Be blessed for the remainder of your days

I've had the greatest privilege

To work in special education

Helping and watching their progress

Brought me both joy and jubilation

There were times when they got rowdy

And made attempts at acting out

But with firmness and true love

They understood what it's all about

They may be slower than some others

That's all that sets these kids apart

When you consider their special needs

It's plain to see that they're very smart

Not everyone can do this type of work

They say I'm special but that's not true

All that's needed is love and understanding

To see that they are really very smart

Seeing their progress through the years

Gave me a heart felt warmth inside

I loved them like they were my own

They truly are a great sense of pride
