STOP LOOK AND LISTEN
When you were a young child waiting to cross the street
You were taught to stop look and listen before you crossed
Sometimes those who ignored these simple rules
Were also the same ones whose lives were lost
This rule not only applies to crossing streets
It also can be applied to the lesson of life
God wants you to stop to look and to listen
So that you won’t wallow in temptation and strife
Stop walking in the sinful ways that are of this world
Look up and look down and decide which way is best
Listen to the Word of the Lord and seek salvation
If you choose God’s path you have passed the test
