HELP ME PASS GOD'S WORD ALONG

How many times must I write these words

Their end will always come out the same

If my poetic ministry doesn't make you think

Can you tell me which one of us is to blame

Is the message that I write not reaching you

Are your eyes blinded by a hardened heart

Open them by letting go and letting God

Operate on your closed attitude to start

Allow yourself to be open to hear His Word

Then you as well will also have a ministry

Telling everyone that is willing to listen

Of how the Word of God has set you free

We all preaches His word in different ways

It may be in poetry or perhaps even in song

Some may have a gift that makes other people listen

As the Holy Spirit touches them to make them strong

When I can see all of these things happening around me

I know that God is going to give me more words to write

Which will open the eyes and ears of so many others to

See Messiah Yeshua as the only Truth Way and Light

Most of the verses that are given to me are

From God at the agency where I volunteer

It's not that I don't have a sufficient amount of work

But because the Holy Spirit keeps enough time clear

Today I answered the most amazing telephone call

It seems we shared a bond that was geographical

I believe that God is in control of every aspect of life

The only word to describe this would be fantastic

Usually when these things begin to happen to me

My path is crossed so that I can spread God's Word

If this was the message that I've been given today

I 'm not quite positive yet because I haven't heard

Poetry and testimony are my way of spreading God's Word

And every day the Lord keeps opening new doors for me to

Tell the whole world about their Jewish messiah whose name is Yeshua

Whose crucifixion absolve everyone's sins and set them spiritually free

BIBLICAL DAYDREAMS OF FAITH

In random daydreams I would fantasize

About living in various time frames in the bible

The trying and the joyful times

For which, since I was there, I would be liable

I felt the presence of the LORD

With Moses, I saw the bush that burned

To humble myself and have reverent fear

Are just two of the lessons that I’ve learned

I was in the camp of Abraham

When God’s covenant was given

He was commanded to sacrifice his son

His love of God and to obey kept him driven

When Joshua surrounded the city

By honoring the trumpet’s call

It was as God did decree

And I saw the walls of Jericho fall

I was on the battlefield with David

Hopelessly all looked to be lost

But his Godly faith would slay goliath

With rocks from a slingshot that were tossed

I stood in the court of King Solomon

God gave him wisdom beyond his years

Two women claimed a newborn child

The outcome brought me joyful tears

After the victory of Judah Macabee

With little oil for a Godly dedication      

Miraculously it lasted for eight days

Wow! What a cause for celebration

On and on throughout the bible

I saw all the miracles God had amassed

And though they were all wondrous

I’ve saved the best for last

I was part of the multitude

That saw God’s son hang on a tree

Because He was the only perfect sacrifice

For which God set the sins of mankind free

The daydreams that I have are awesome

But God has other plans for me

Messiah said to minister God’s word

Of salvation now and for eternity

FISH STORY

Fish story

As a child I went on fishing trips

Most of them were with my dad

At that point in my life it was

The greatest time I'd ever

Before dad would let me fish all by myself

He taught me how to use the rod and reel

That I would know if I had one on my hook

Because It's something that he said I'd feel

I sat there waiting very patiently but

My nervous stomach churned inside

I felt a jerk and quickly reeled it in

Unfortunately it was just the tide

I cast my line out once again

With all of the utmost speed

When it yanked again I pulled it in but

I had hooked clumps of thick seaweed

Once more I cast into deep water

By now I really didn't give a hoot

The next time that my line came up

I had hooked a size eight army boot

I was just about ready to give up

So I reeled it in and to my dismay

There was the biggest fish I'd ever seen

The largest one that was caught that day

The one thing that I learned from this

Is that no matter what gets in the fray

Be patient it will work out in the end

The goal that you seek is on the way

A RETREAT TO ADVANCE THE GLORY OF GOD

A RETREAT TO ADVANCE THE GLORY OF GOD

Another year has just flown by

It’s time again for the Men’s Retreat

Filled with praise and prayer and fellowship

And a speaker who I’ve yet to meet

We do not know the message

Of the sermon that this Israeli Rabbi brings

But with open minds and ears and hearts

Our spirit will absorb so many things

When the retreat has ended

This weekend will be more than a memory

For we will go forth and spread the word

Of how God Truth has set us free

Tell everyone who listens

How God sacrificed His only Son

To cleanse our sins and bring eternal life

Just by professing Yeshua, Messiah, The Holy One

Each of us who ministers God’s word

Will be blessed beyond all measure

Our fear of the Lord is reverent

Our reward an abundance of Heavenly treasure       

Before you know it we’ll meet again

With many stories of salvation

This will continue until Messiah’s return

In the year of Jubilation

Lately I've seen numerous friends and family pass away

Do you wonder if I think that I might be next

Well just let me set the record straight

There's absolutely no way that I am vexed

My early life was far from pure

But now I am a completed Jew

Yeshua took away all worldly sin

In Him I'm a creature born anew

And even though they are forgiven

Sin till occurs that I may not see

So I pray in the Spirit," forgive me Lord"

Daily I wake knowing that He set me free

I believe that I've led a good life since accepting Yeshua

And know with my last breath I've been given eternal life

I pray that God will give me more time to minister his word

To many others with the help of a very godly wife

Only Almighty God knows the exact day

When He will call me to my heavenly home

For now I'll just serve Him wherever I'm needed

Still spreading His word in each God given poem

VESSELS

We are just God’s vessels

Spreading the good news

Of the teachings of Messiah

To the Gentiles and the Jews

From before the time He was crucified

The Pharisees would deny belief in Him

And of the multitude of followers

Chances of professing Him were slim

In time the Gentiles through the church

Professed God through His son

And a remnant of Jewish believers

Knew also that He was the Holy One

For the most part they assimilated

So that they could praise His name

They were Jewish by their birthright

But their families felt a sense of shame

There came a time when the rabbinic

Admitted His Jewish existence

But still denied him as Messiah

There just wasn’t enough persistence

Yet it planted a seed within many Jews

To know Messiah and hold on to tradition

What a blessing we’ve been given

To come full circle in fruition

And into the camp of Israel

Many Gentiles pitched their tent

Jew and Gentile worshiping together

In the prophecy of what God meant

As believers we can truly say

That we have seen many end time signs

In His time He will return

And lead us to our God Devine
