F.Y.I. - PROUD DAD-A NOTE FROM THE POET

Before I post this week’s 2 poems, (For those of you who don’t already know this), last year I posted that my younger daughter Shelby was selected as the 2011-12 Fulton County, Ga. Teacher of the Year. From there it goes to the state level for Ga. Teacher of the Year. There are 150 applicants. (1 from each county) A committee picks out the top 10 to be considered for the honor. My daughter made the top 10 list, which even if she isn’t selected is quite an honor in itself. Thank You Lord!
