THE LONG ROAD HOME

 

the long road home

 

When I was a little boy

I’d pray before I went to sleep

That if I died before I woke

I’d ask the L my soul to keep

 

As I got much older

I left such things as this behind

I became so involved with worldly ways

That prayer was the last thing on my mind

 

It was only during hard times

When I could not cope

That I would call upon my GOD

And pray that there would be some hope

 

Many years would go passing by

Before I saw the light

Though His kingdom is in heaven

I’ve never been out of His sight

 

I’ve learned that GOD is number One

In my life not two or three

And if I live my life the way He asks

He will always walk with me

 

My time on earth will end some day

My bones will turn to dust

My soul will enter the pearly gates

The reward from my GOD who loves and trust

 

BE PREPARED FOR HE SHALL COME

 

The winds of time are blowing change

It is a good thing to behold

I sense His coming from the Eastern sky

As the scriptures have foretold

 

Those of us who have kept God's Word

Will be lifted to His Kingdom High

Accept Yeshua as your Messiah now

There still is time don't pass it by

 

Come unto the Lord my child

And you shall share His Love

Stand beside God as you Praise His Name

In the Holiness of New Jerusalem above

 

God has given me the words you’ve read

In the form of spiritual poetry

If you’ve enjoyed what you have read

Beyond this lies books two and three

 

Some may read them just for pleasure

And others may feel that it fills a need

My prayer is that non-believers read them

Then I will know that I’ve planted a seed

 

In God’s time the seed will blossom

They will come to know Yeshua too

The Salvation in the path to God

A gift for both the Gentile and the Jew    

MESSIAH

 Messiah

 

And it came to pass

In days of old

The prophecy of Messiah

That the bible had foretold

 

And as it was written

The Messiah to the Jews was born

He preached God’s word and healed the sick

And gave hope and comfort to the forlorn

 

He walked among them

Preaching love

Of His fellow man

And His father God above

 

Some who heard Him speak cynical

They knew they had to make a choice

In order to retain their power

They must permanently silence His voice

 

To show the people that His claim was false

They decreed that He must be tried

 Prejudged they found Him guilty

And sentenced Him to be crucified

 

They took His body down and put it

Into a cave and sealed it tight

Three days later they opened it

But inside all they saw was God’s shining

 

Prophecies of His coming were fulfilled

He truly was God’s Son

The only perfect sacrificial Lamb

His blood rendered the sins of all undone

 

Risen He walked with His disciples

And said to preach the word for all to hear it

That He lives in each of us

Through the power of the Holy Spirit

 

Read and obey God’s commandments

Bask in the glory of His grace and love

For only by professing Yeshua as Messiah

Will you reach the Kingdom of God above

 

Believers are seeing prophecies come true

That show the end time is drawing near

In His time he’ll come back to bring us home

And we’ll know there is nothing left to fear

 

And thousands of angels will rejoice

As we are greeted by our family and friends

Our souls have reached eternity

The time that never ends

 

TIME

  time

 

Even if you don’t make time for God

He always has the time for you

Why not spend some time with Him

He’ll be happy when you do

 

Sit down and read the bible

I think you’ll be surprised

To find so many prophecies fulfilled

Much more than you had realized

 

A man called Jesus or Yeshua

Was the Messiah that all prophecies fulfilled

Including the one that was written

Telling of His death and His blood spilled

 

The offering of sacrifice to God

Had to be an unblemished lamb

The only one Who was that pure

Was the Son in flesh of the great I am

 

The blood he shed cleansed all of sin

The sacrifice offering was no more

He died for us and rose again

To let God’s light shine through the door

 

And when you see the pearly gates

There is but one way to get through

Act now and profess God’s son as Messiah

The gates will only open if you do

Good friends are like the Holy Spirit

They are there for you night and day

Through the good times and the bad times

Permanent fixtures who are there to stay

 

If you've accepted Yeshua as your Messiah

A mansion awaits you up above

For one of the many things He taught

Was the Holiness of brotherly love

 

When asked about the greatest commandments

He said, " Love God with all your heart, mind, strength

And also to love your neighbor as yourself"

Whatever their needs go to any length

 

That's the reason why I call you friend

For I know that you would do the same for me

In Messiah we are all sisters and brothers

Crucified He bore all our sins and set us free

WHAT MORE CAN I DO LORD

 

what more can i do lOrd

 

I have often thought about

Living in Messiah’s era

To be able to serve Him faithfully

And to draw him nearer

 

Since the time when He walked on earth

Both man and science have come far

But many have lost their way to God

Though His door has always been ajar

 

With all that goes on in my life

I can only serve him when I am able

Truly this is not enough

I need to put more on the table

 

Was it the same in His day

Could I have given more

To devote in total servitude and spread His word

That by salvation you would be restored

 

I guess I’ll never know the answer

So I’ll just do what I can

To minister the word truth light and way

Of my God Messiah son of man

DO NOT DOUBT THE WORD OF GOD

 Do not doubt the word of GOd 

 Do not doubt that I am Jewish.

I am a messianic Jew

I’ve been completed in Messiah

I’ve been reborn in what I say and think and do

 

In GOD’s time I found Yeshua

Just short of being sixty-three years old.

And my children who are Jewish

Have accepted this when they were told

 

They’ve accepted who I am in him

Though they don’t believe as I

But I’ve planted a seed as was done to me

He’ll reveal the truth as time passes by

 

For the last two thousand years

The rabbinic were made blind

Not accepting Old Testament prophesy

Which would bless all of mankind

 

They have chosen to interpret

The decrees of GOD’s written word                                                           

But the truth about the bible is

That only GOD’s word should be heard

 

Messiah’s birth was prophesied

And also that His flesh must die

His blood was shed to cleans all sin

Yet He never asked the question why

 

He rose from the dead for a short time

Before returning to sit at God’s right hand

To tell His disciples to spread the word

Of the glory of His father’s promise land

 

Those who deny that His word is true

Will no doubt be surprised

When in God’s time the trumpets blast

And He returns through the eastern skies

 

He’ll come to lead the faithful

Through heaven’s gate into New Jerusalem

But He only way to get there

Is to profess belief in Him

 

Awaken Jew and Gentile

This is God’s truth that you’ve heard today

Acknowledge Him and you will surely see

That He is the Truth, Light and the Way
