FORGIVENESS
I wrote a letter of forgiveness
To
someone in my life
In
all the years I’ve been around
He
contaminated it with utter strife
I’ve
known this person all my life
And
couldn’t fathom why this should be
Whether
you believe it or not
The one I must forgive
is me
I
sought my own forgiveness
By
praying to the L-rd above
God’s
answer came through the Spirit
He
said it was through Peace and Love
Now
I know I can love myself
For
He has told me what to do
I
came into that place in life
Because
God knows I love Him too
