COMPASSIONATE LORD

Thank you Lord for you compassion

Although you knew I’d committed sin

I didn’t let go and let God in a situation

That should have only been win/win

On that day when I fell extremely ill

You chose to warn this wretched soul

Instead of bringing me to judgment

You chose to heal and make me whole

For you saw that I’d found Salvation

Through the blood shed by Your Son

Messiah Yeshua the King of Kings

The Hope of Israel and Holy One

I’ll abide by your decisions although

I know that my flesh might not agree

For Your Holy Spirit lives within me

And it has set this captive free

I will exalt You My Lord forever

With fervent prayer and praise

And use this gift You’ve given me

To help to lead home Your Strays

God of mercy and compassion

Your Strength is my source

Guide me Lord in all Your ways

Keep me steadfast on the course

A SMILE'S REWARD

A SMILE’S REWARD

A smile is such a pleasant thing

It says exactly who you are

Frowning on the other hand

Won’t get you very far

Laughter is the best medicine

Beating tension fear and strife

Although not proven medically

It seems to give us a longer life

God wants us to be happy

Verses in the bible tell us so

It says to spread love and joy

Until He tells us it’s our to go

So fill your life with lots of laughter

Sometimes it may even hurt to smile

Seek peace on earth good will toward all

You’ll see it pays to walk that extra mile

I CAN’T HELP TO SAVE EVERY SOUL

Sadly no matter how hard and how often I may try

Some I come in contact with are beyond redemption

Perhaps another of the Lord’s vessels may do better

This was a relative and I got too close to the situation

I understood that it was Farther God telling me

To Back off and He would seek a different path

Since it was family all that’s left for me to do is pray

That whatever happens he doesn’t irk God’s Wrath

I even got a pastor friend involved in the situation

Thinking his deeper knowledge would work better

The family member’s mind was shut so tightly that

He would’ve gotten better results from an Irish Setter

In my enthusiasm for Yeshua and that final result

I pushed harder than I usually do and went too far

I see the overall picture clearer now and moved on

I pray that between us it hasn’t left a lasting scar

So here we are at the crossroads once again and I’ll

Continue the work that the lord has given me to do

Perhaps someone reading this doesn’t know Yeshua

I’ll tell them how to start their Spiritual Life anew

Sometimes the Lord gives me words to write

And I find it necessary to write them down

A big problem is because of my handwriting

It occasionally may even cause me to frown

Then of course there’s that second problem

It happens to be my somewhat poor vision

God may not have wanted them written then

 It also may not have been His final Decision

In the meantime I keep all of the scraps of papers

And then I’ll check them over whenever I’m able

Until the next time that the Lord gives me more

That I write down and leave on my work table

2ND POEM FOR THIS WEEK: THE MYSTERY OF GOD

I was only able to post one poem for this week yesterday on Valentine's Day because of a computer glitch with my carrier. Below is the 2nd poem for this week.

THE MYSTERY OF GOD

We worship the Lord God with blind faith

It’s something that we always need to do

What we have as proof of God’s Existence

Are both of His Testaments Old and New

But our thoughts are not His Thoughts

And our ways are not the Lord’s as well

There’s only one way to get into heaven

And more than one to get into the pit of hell

How do we believe God with such blind faith

Because His Word declares that He can’t Lie

For all the non believers that are out there

I‘m suggesting that you give the Lord a try

The New Testament says the God gave His Son’s Life

For the repentance and the cleansing of all of our sins

Professing Yeshua as Lord and confessing them to Him

Awesomely from that moment on your renewed life begins

You’re granted an eternal life in God’s Kingdom of heaven

With a place where you store all of your heavenly treasure

All these things just for having blind faith in the Lord

And a life after death that’s completely beyond measure

If anyone questions why I repeat so many subjects so often

It’s because no matter how often I repeat them over a again

It take all of that time to get through to many of these folks

Before God tells me it’s done and I can finally say “Amen.”

                                 

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Since I never buy cards for any of our special occasions, and write a poem to my wife on these days, I have her permission to share this day's poem with my viewers. (Everything that is except the more personal words between a husband & wife)

ALWAYS THE LAST MINUTE BUT STILL ON TIME

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

All of the words that I’ve written about

Who you are and the reason’s why I’ll

Always love you even past the day I die

Are compounded in the way you smile

Rather than talk about all those qualities that are

Wrapped in your laughter and when you smile

And even when we might have our differences

For you I’d always be willing to walk that extra mile

We both know the reason we feel the way we do about each other

It’s because it’s about God and how He put us in each other’s life

I’ll always love her from this day forward and throughout eternity

Thank You Lord for blessing me with such a wonderful Godly wife

PRESSING FORWARD

PRESSING FORWARD

The Lord has assigned a task to me to reach

The unsaved and bereaved through poetry

It’s a means that leads to the final victory

The task of setting them Spiritually Free

The words that I write are given to me

Directly from the Lord’s Holy Spirit

Then He directs their path to my blog for

Those in to need to read and understand it

I can honestly say that it’s the truth because

Yeshua suffered and died to cleans us our sins

But He has given me some burdens to carry

It’s the human part of where Salvation begins

I have degenerative disks in my entire back

And my vision is considered legally blind

We’ve all suffered in one form or another

But we need to cast those iniquities behind

We still need to ask God’s forgiveness for daily sins

Every day when we go the Lord in our prayers

I know that when the Lord hears our confessions

It makes the day easier because He Really Cares

The apostle Paul said to press toward the mark

To keep Yeshua as your number one priority

The Rewards that come later are beyond measure

To your Soul that’s in heaven throughout eternity

YOU BE THE JUDGE

YOU BE THE JUDGE

This is an important question that I’m posing to you

When you go to worship what’s the proper attire

Or do you believe that it’s really not important

Because you’re there to seek the Lord’s Holy Fire

This is my individual opinion on that situation

Respect for the Lord requires a proper dress code

You do not always have to be dressed to the nines

But In His House It should be a respectable mode

Jeans are acceptable but not with ratty holes in them

In God’s House I feel you should be decently dressed

Ladies wearing dresses barely covering their booty

Or some tops that accentuate and show their breasts

Sure there are some exceptions to this scenario

Si0omethingThose who may be homeless or who are poor

Even those people can change the situation by

Just keep on praying what they’re asking for

Now it’s your turn to voice your opinion
